Pros

Flexible working hours. Managers respect your craft, advocates for continuous learning seriously. Good work life balance. SAP's partnerships with hyperscalers allow for plenty of opportunities to work on cutting edge tech: k8s, Jenkins, tensorflow, pytorch, Apache airflow, etc. This of course depends on which organization you are in.

Cons

Lower than average pay. Paygrade type is tagged as a consultant, not a data scientist.
