      Pros

      I've had a great experience working here. You are taken care of as an employee and there are many opportunities to grow within SAS. There are so many free training courses given to employees which is amazing so there isn't an excuse to not grow and learn. Most everyone I've worked with is friendly and has a positive attitude.

      Cons

      When applying for a position internally you pretty much have to hurry up and wait as HR is slow. I've not had many bad experiences other than that.

      SAS is the Market leader in analytics applied to Big Data and visualization of that data. Their is huge demand ofr Data Scientists right now and demand is outstripping supply so a great time to acquire skills in what is a high profile hot market at the moment. SAS has the best market leading solutions in this area applied to a diverse range of industries to solve analytics and optimisation problems. The work environment is stunning set in several acres of manicured grounds.Good work life balance and strong executive leadership.

      SAS needs to up it's pace of change with regards adjusting its sales model to meet changing "in the cloud" market demands
