      Benefits, Great location and campus

      Cons

      Stifling internal process and politics (a lot of dead wood with 20+ years). Technology getting stale. Licensing designed to hold on to the legacy of the past and hinders growth.

      Pros

      Work/Life balance. Playing sports during work is nice.

      Cons

      Outdated technology, principles, and game plan, only riding on the success from the 1980s/1990s. No room to grow/switch roles. Below average pay, and every time I try to get more money they quickly deflect and ignore you until their yearly review (of which you have no control over). I would switch roles but there's no room there either. I'm leaving asap.

      Pros

      SAS was still a great place for me to work in terms of my friends and co-workers there. They became like family to me over the years. Benefits are still great.

      Cons

      People in many divisions are extremely overworked. As people leave or are let go, they aren't replaced. Upper management no longer seems to care about, support, nor listen to their staff members. Although benefits are still very good, there are now too many other progressive companies to choose from, most of which pay more. The sense of camaraderie isn't as far-reaching within the company as it used to be.
