Pros

Benefits are pretty great. Corporate as a whole seems pretty supportive. Many teammates have stayed for many years. I work with a great group of people at the non exempt level.

Cons

Regional level management is a swinging door so every year or two we have a different business exec on their way up the corporate ladder stop through and try to stir things up. Usually very business savy but no ASC knowledge or knowledge of the local market and patient base. Too much nepotism taking place with no real restrictions from facility to facility. We have managers being promoted with zero people skills allowing conflict to escalate in an otherwise wonderful company to work for. I would highly recommend a position at Corporate or remote offices but complete opposite of the ASC's themselves. I have seen harassment of employees from the time I started and it has mostly been from managers.

DO NOT WORK HERE

Pros

Great Teammates and a lot of things to learn.

Cons

If your not into kissing up to management then you won't move around in the company. A lot of promises are made for new things and they fall through the cracks. There are not many people in the office with more than 2 years experience because of the management/leadership. Policies and procedures are made by people who never have actually performed the job function the changes will effect. Positions are offered and they are suddenly removed. Supervisors are in charge of departments they never even worked before so they can't assist in answering questions. The morale is very low and every day at least 2-3 people quit the job. They can't hire and retain employees to continue the work. There is no consistency across the board on some company policies. If a manager does not like you they discuss it with everyone else in the office instead of addressing the person. They say they are wanting people that will fit the culture and they will only happen if they want 4 year olds to work for them. They have babysitting hours twice a day. Management comes up with rules and polices and are the first ones to break the rules. Not a professional place at all.

Pros

Insurance benefits, recognition, salary, work/life balance

Cons

Communication. That's the biggest problem within SCA.
