      Pros

      Surgical Care Affiliates is a mission-driven organization that truly lives and breathes its values. SCA teammates are intensely smart, motivated and passionate about their work. It makes coming to work exciting and rewarding. The expectations are high, but excellence is noticed and acknowledged. The company is growing rapidly and I can't wait to see where this company goes.

      Cons

      As a "young" company, there are a few growing pains to address, but everyone is committed to continuous improvement and it shows.

      Pros

      SCA is a company that is driven by it's core values, and lives those everyday. As an organization, the driving force is to better serve physicians and be a leader in healthcare to support in driving down costs for everyday people. The teams here are very smart, focused, high energy, authentic, and will to admit and accept responsibility.

      Cons

      The company could have more diversity, but is making this a priority.

      Great people who work hard, but under appreciated and under compensated.

      Cons

      Meat grinder. Very low pay. Expectations for employees to work ridiculous hours with no overtime, no bonus and no incentives. The new overtime law should be a wake up call for SCA, which serves them right! Unfortunately, due to the limited job opportunities in the Birmingham area, many teammates feel trapped to leave this company. It would about make sense to work at Target close to minimum wage than work here ridiculous hours with no extra compensation and losing your sanity.
