None that I can think of since the new CEO took over.

Cons

The CEO is an absolute dictator and narcissist. He does not care about anyone but himself. The company is on the decline and much of us here have already started to look for other jobs.

Pros

SCAN is a great company, small family feel, but growing with many opportunities. Working here, makes me feel like I make a difference to our members, no matter how small. CEO is a strong leader, with much better direction by taking SCAN to the next level of vision and growth. Company had been stagnant for a long time, I’m looking forward to see what’s next.

No cons, other than distance from home.

Pros

The best reason to work at Scan is the mission and the employees that live it. Everyone is very aligned in serving the mission to make seniors independent and healthy. Other for-profit health plans are certainly more focused on the all-mighty dollar rather than a mission. You can feel the difference at Scan very early on.

Cons

Still working remote - looking forward to getting back in the office post-COVID to start working more closely again with fellow employees.
