Pros

Flexible with work hours, lots of perks such as earthquake kits, massages, free cups

Cons

LOTS of favoritism Job well done always goes unnoticed Speak up is a 'basic principle' however, beware, they retaliate and consider it insubordination towards management.

Pros

The mission is meaningful and attracts employees who genuinely want to improve healthcare and make a difference. Many front-line employees are talented, dedicated, and committed to doing the right thing for providers and members. There are opportunities to identify operational improvements and solve complex business problems. The organization has the talent necessary to become an industry leader if leadership better supports execution.

Cons

Leadership often encourages innovation but struggles with implementation. Employees are asked to identify and solve problems without clear ownership, planning, or long term support. Priorities and expectations change frequently, making it difficult to know what success looks like. Employees can feel as though they are working toward moving targets. The culture is highly reactive. Instead of fixing root causes, teams spend too much time responding to recurring operational issues. Work life balance does not always align with what is communicated during recruiting. After hours work can become an expectation rather than the exception. Flexibility appears to depend on circumstances rather than consistent policy. Employees facing legitimate family situations may not experience the support they expect. High performing employees can become discouraged because initiative and accountability are not consistently matched by leadership direction and followthrough.

Pros

I only joined this place because I thought that it was a non-profit that actually wanted to make a difference. Turns out, it was all fake.

Cons

If you work here, don't think of your future. Employee career growth is a joke to these terrible people. The fake leadership makes false claims that they want to see you grow. It's a lie. They don't care about you or your growth. They just do whatever they want. Work volumes can change suddenly, and you have to adjust accordingly. If the work is too much, employee burnout becomes a reality. Most employees just want to do their jobs and get some relaxation time. It's not always possible, as you can be handed last-minute assignments anytime. The peak seasons are the worst, as you have to work to the point of exhaustion frequently. The stress I tolerated on such days cannot be defined in words. It was terribly high.
