If you are passionate about patient care, and about doing the best for the patient, then this is the company for you. This is a vertically integrated company that cares for the patient from the first hospital visit through the last medical bill and beyond. Pay and benefits are competitive. Time off is generous. The revenue cycle is the best in the business and should be emulated by similar enterprises. Promoting from within is encouraged. There is a lot of opportunity for people who want to work hard.

Cons

If you want to work in a cushy atmosphere with little change, this is not the company for you. They are working on the cutting edge and expect employees to be agile and resilient. Healthcare is a challenging industry. Most Insurance companies are doing everything they can to reduce their "medical loss," which is the term used by insurers to describe when they have to pay a medical claim. If the U.S. wants to continue to enjoy high quality healthcare services, then they must stop the insurance companies from making obscene profits at the expense of the healthcare providers and the patients.
