      Average length of stay is ~3 years. For a reason.

      Pros

      Location in an upscale modern office complex with shuttle to BART. Decent 401(k) match, but long term committment might be bad opportunity cost and not be worth it. Most staff are thoughtful well-meaning people. People who stick around have new titles.

      Cons

      Upper mangement is gunning for growth and risks losing staff that are already maxed out. This company sheds people constantly because salaries of the younger staff are too low, and many are regularly overworked. People cut all the time.

      Pros

      staff is idealistic and while each division may not be in the "sustainability" limelight, the contributions of all make for a growing company with a real commitment to positive change - environmentally based. The climate group is making excellent headway internationally. Benefits are excellent and pay is decent People are great (more are 20s-30s) - nerdy but not all... and there are fun employee events planned by an excellent office manager

      Cons

      its a heads down, computer focused ..more serious environment... lots of work! there are different groups with various leaders, and most are moving to a real bottom line focus

      Upper management ruins this company

      -Employees are allowed to have a flexible schedule -Colleagues (especially at the lower levels) are young, active, and friendly -The subject matter is often interesting

      Cons

      -Little room for advancement combined with low pay means that people come here until they've gained some skills, then move on to greener pastures -Weak industry presence and inability to work well with leaders in the field -Mis-management from the top down: the company needs a new business plan
