Hello! Thanks for leaving a review. This past year we have really focused on our international employees and contractors, making the onboarding process more streamlined and similar to our U.S. Employee process. With that, our contractors have an electronic onboarding process that is very user friendly to both the contractor and managers. We also want all of our international employees feel supported and valued. We have partnered with a third party company that assist with international hiring to make sure we follow each countries rules and regulations for pay, benefits, etc. We believe this will help all our international employees feel just as valued as our U.S. based employees. Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review!

Pros

- Ability to change team in case employee identifies a better match. Some teams have passionate and caring leaders and teammates. - All (at least all those I knew and worked even remotely closely with) are passionate and knowledgeable professionals. - Depending on your program, you could get the opportunity to be involved in interesting projects and tasks which help you grow. - You meet good people. - The company matching (at the time) was generous.

Cons

At the time, there seemed to be little consistency across teams on culture, so your team integration depended on how well you could get along with the particular members of the team, their structure, and culture. If you fell into a clique'y' team and your profile was not a match for the clique then you'd have to deal with that. Cons: At the time, lack of an overall organization wide culture of warmth, inclusion and sensitivity. There could at the time be an under current of cold and disconnectedness depending on which team you were on. Even well meaning kind team leadership could sometimes be paternalistic. At the time, there was a major lack of professional HR presence. Hope that's fixed. Advice for candidates: If you're interested in working there, you can ask as part of your interview how HR is being handled, and ask to be told about both the company culture and the team culture. Overall note: I appreciated my time there and would work with them again under the right circumstances.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We agree that those are great questions for all candidates to consider. In the last year some of our HR initiatives were streamlining our virtual onboarding process, implementing leadership & development, and also launching our DEI committee. Candidates who are selected to move forward have a Meet & Greet call with a Talent Acquisition Specialist. During that call HR goes over the position, the team culture, info on SCS and what to expect for the interview process and timeline. Please keep an eye on our new job postings and openings, as we would welcome you back to SCS. Thanks again!
