Pros

Great co-workers. Good benefits. Great "stated" principles.

Cons

No leadership. Senior management exhibits no understanding of basic leadership principles. Continually undermine each other and lack continuity in pursuing stated goals. Very self centered and egocentric. Management really fails to respect employees by being honest with them and recognize employees as adult professionals.

Pros

I consider SDMyers a great company that is family oriented, friendly/caring co-workers with Christian values which is very important to me. Great benefits, low cost to our employees compared to other companies. They promote work/family and if you apply yourself there is room for advancement and the open door policy is great. I have found management will work with you if you or your family is going through health /family issues. We offer a Chaplin that makes weekly visits to our employees by coming into the company each week, and will make hospital visit or attend funerals. We are a company that will try first to promote from within when a position comes open.

Cons

Really can’t think of anything except maybe too often of reorganize of departments with employees moving around and not letting others know of the changes.
