Pros

Exciting and dynamic environment, you'll own your own learning and development. Strong culture amongst peers. A sticky industry to build a career in. A very easy-to-sell API-based product.

Cons

Lack of organization and follow-through on all management levels. Toxic employee/manager relationships and working styles. Shady practices on pay, commissions, and performance measurement. Consistent lack of effective enablement and training.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your contribution to SEON. We always appreciate hearing from our former teammates, as it helps us to evolve and improve. I want to reassure you that transparency and fairness in compensation are fundamental values at SEON. We pride ourselves on offering competitive and generous packages, especially in sales roles. This commitment is reflected in our low attrition rates in these positions, and to my knowledge, we have not received complaints regarding our compensation practices. Regarding sales enablement, we recognize that information can be distributed across various channels like our internal Wiki, product videos, and weekly updates. We are actively working on making this more cohesive and accessible for everyone. We acknowledge that there may be areas for improvement in organization, employee relationships, and training. Rest assured, we are dedicated to addressing these issues to ensure a positive and productive work environment for all. I encourage you to reach out to me directly at tomkadar@seon.io to discuss any specific concerns or experiences you've had. Your perspective is invaluable in helping us better understand and address any issues. Regarding your advice to management, I want to emphasize that our goal at SEON is to create a transformative platform in the anti-fraud industry. Our focus is on making a meaningful impact, supported by our communications and public statements. While venture capital funding has enabled our growth, our core mission remains the same. Thank you for your review on Glassdoor. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that your experience with us didn't meet your expectations, especially concerning the redundancies. Restructuring departments is never an easy decision and is a last resort for us. It was crucial for us to align our team and capabilities more closely with our strategy and goals. For the record, SEON has recently shifted away from employing part-time roles to maintain a focused, full-time team. If you're open to it, I would greatly appreciate further insights from you. Please send me a direct email at tomkadar@seon.io. Your experience and suggestions can help us continuously improve and hopefully prevent similar situations in the future. Thank you once again, and I wish you the best moving forward. Tamas Kadar - CEO and Co-Founder of SEON

Pros

Great people: the team is comprised of talented individuals who are dedicated and supportive. They foster a positive and encouraging culture. Good pay: competitive salary, recognizing and rewarding your skills and contributions. Flexibility: great deal of flexibility provided in terms of work hours and tasks, fostering a sense of autonomy. Solid product: SEON offers a product that is competitive and solid in the market.

Cons

Typical startup issues: as is common with startups, there can be some instability and unpredictability in processes and workflows. Lots of change: changes are frequent, which can be a little overwhelming at times. This requires adaptability and resilience. High responsibility: SEON trusts hard-working individuals with more responsibilities, you may need to learn to set boundaries and say no to avoid overwork. Fast paced: the work pace is very fast, which might be challenging for some individuals.
