Thank you for your review on Glassdoor. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that your experience with us didn't meet your expectations, especially concerning the redundancies. Restructuring departments is never an easy decision and is a last resort for us. It was crucial for us to align our team and capabilities more closely with our strategy and goals. For the record, SEON has recently shifted away from employing part-time roles to maintain a focused, full-time team. If you're open to it, I would greatly appreciate further insights from you. Please send me a direct email at tomkadar@seon.io. Your experience and suggestions can help us continuously improve and hopefully prevent similar situations in the future. Thank you once again, and I wish you the best moving forward. Tamas Kadar - CEO and Co-Founder of SEON

Cons

They often change how things work and it's no surprise when people are made redundant. It's hard to know your place at SEON.

Thank you for sharing your experience at SEON on Glassdoor. It's good to hear that you appreciate our flexibility with remote work and find the technology we're involved with to be interesting. However, I'm sorry to hear that you find the frequent changes unsettling. We acknowledge that change can be difficult, but it's also part of our pursuit to constantly evolve and improve. That said, we aim to make SEON a stable work environment, and we're actively working on strategies to reduce the frequency of such changes and restructuring exercises. On your advice about maintaining staff, it's a crucial point and one that I personally take to heart. We are committed to investing in our people and making SEON a better place to work every day. I would love to hear more details about your experience. Please feel free to send me a direct email at tomkadar@seon.io to discuss any specific concerns or suggestions you may have. Pros

o Young team, great professionals, good vibes..... it used to be whn I entered

Cons

o Not possible to climb the ladder. Like simply not and if you get promoted, you actually don't. End of sentence. o The 20% layoff hit hard everyone. Fresh hires and great professionals were sent away. They got some months of salary and their silence was purchased. o Workload is slowly getting unbearable, processes and expectations are not realistic o Stress of upper management is in the air: things are more turbulent, they try to control everything more and micromanage smaller things fast although issues actually because of their earlier decisions. It's a never ending loop. o Salary is pathetic for the amount of work. o Future is pessimistic, not recommended to consider SEON.
