Pros

Very friendly workgroup, easy to get work done, ease of communication, great tools to get my work accomplished. Management provided lots of details on company status, I always knew where we stood with customers, financials, product development. Lots of respect among team mates.

Cons

Difficult market, new product development is slow and customers are not transparent with future product roadmaps.

Nice offices, decent perks to the job (aka nice Christmas party, potential to earn bonuses, birthday cakes).

Cons

Very little opportunity to move across the business. Our department was known as a bit of a black hole - hire enthusiastic uni graduates then set them to data entry for two years until they either quit or burn out and lose all motivation to be stellar employees. Pay was also dismally low - well below industry standards. Recruiters for my next role laughed when they heard what I was earning at the Seven Network.

Pros

Great company, great people, great leadership in my department. Many people work there for a very long time and don't leave unless it's due to family or moving country's etc.

Cons

A top level of management during my time there was a bully and self centred. This manager probably would have left by now.
