Confusing, requires high independence, relatively disorganized

Horrible management as far as department. Lack of wanting to spend to get equipment fixed properly, and then make scrapped material because equipment isn't running like it should. Management not fully understand process in the department they manage. Just not caring about a department cause it produced nearly a million dollars worth of bad product. Equipment that should be working properly that causes a serious health issue to employees is overlooked and pushed way back, like it's not a priority. New hires not given the opportunity to be properly trained on very dangerous equipment for example the crane. Rather just thrown on it from new supervision employee. Not understanding the dangers and past incidents that have happened. Loss of production due to competitor pricing may cause for a reduction of employment which none of us want. Some employees had and or still having to pull the workload of 2 jobs to meet production.
