Pros

Whitin a big organization you have chances to participate in challenging projects in some cases state of the art of the particular industry.

Cons

Poor comunication among branches and departments. There are too many silos unconnected not sharing skills and continue development.

Pros

Very challenging and a lot of room to use new technologies. We had 30 little sites across two countries, and a very little budget so it forced us to be very creative.

Cons

There is no a clear IT strategy. IT is managed from other countries with not awareness of the needs in a particular country. Local management didn't have any technical skills.
