Old and conservative mindset company

Pros

- Friendly coworkers (direct peers and managers); - The right company for conservative mindsets; - A good work-life balance.

Cons

The company is very old school regarding the workflow of the procedure. In general coworkers and managers don't want to innovate and it's easy to accept that because the age range of employees is old. Unfortunately, I can not see more young people joining SGS. Working remotely is not well accepted. SGS prefer to continue to invest in offices obligating coworkers to go to the office every day. The salaries are miserable low!! The computers provided are very slow processors and it's common seeing laptops over 5 years. i5 processor with 8GB RAM. SGS leaderships are poor. They prefer to promote older people to high levels. It's often to look at leadership within 35, 40 years of SGS. I'd like to see a younger leadership with new blood implementing a strong foresight and open box mindset (more liberal and not so conservative). I don't recommend it for people: - Who want to innovate through the work processes; - Who want flexibility; - Who wants to work remotely (there is not a truly remote policy and flexible areas manage with the team lead); - Who wants high salaries and career promotion.
