      Lots of opportunities to learn different food testing methods used throughout the industry.

      Cons

      Long hours. Work day is based on number of samples received, which is always a lot.

      Nice coworkers Guaranteed +40 hrs Flexible (to an extent)

      Cons

      Lack of supervision- supervisors leave immediately, leaving lab technicians and microbiologists understaffed. (all you need is a positive attitude per mgmt) Supervisors don't follow laboratory standards (no drinks in lab, wear lab coats at all time) 11am-7:30 is not accurate, it's 11am-10pm Low Pay No opportunities to advance

      Pros

      Conveniently located in NJ with ample no fee parking available. Most staff have a hybrid schedule.

      Cons

      Leadership team is not progressive. On average, colleagues are unmotivated. Overall office morale is low. Change is not easily accepted nor encouraged (actually discouraged). Staff turnover rate amongst newcomers is extremely high. Salary range is below industry standard. Benefit package is high cost and low value.
