Pros

Incredible experience to learn COPIOUS amounts of methods & procedures in a chem lab. You will work tirelessly to analyze all of the samples and contracts that the company takes on. Friendships are easily formed when it feels as if you're being hazed by upper management and their workloads. This is a wonderful stepping stone job. Current employment stated they selected me for an interview because of my employment with SGS.

Cons

This is a job where you will indefinitely burn the wick at both ends! The employment game will very quickly become "How many hours can you work in a week?". Low paying hourly position = Work as much overtime to make more money. My PR was 115hr/pay period when I began looking for other employment opportunities. Daily exposure to sunlight will be limited to only during the drive to work. Enjoy and good luck!!

Pros

Super low pay for all the work that needs to be done.

Cons

They’ll take anyone so if you’re looking for a job while you look for real jobs this one will hire you.

Pros

The clinic staff is very friendly and they do become the only reason you can bring yourself to work here.

Cons

The pay is pretty low. You almost never get a lunch break because they are always understaffed. Upper management sucks. They do not care about the clinic staff. The Principle Investigators are allowed to yell at you in front of panelist. Also, the subjects are rude but the Principle Investigators and upper management allow it. There is no formal training. I would not recommend you start here if you've never worked in clinical research because they will not train you. Also there is a high turn over rate because people would rather pull their hair out instead of work here.
