Pros

People and management in Cairns are the best people to work alongside with. Great for building a wide range of experience in the industry and also some other disciplines of environmental testing. Great work life balance. You can really start and finish whenever you want (depending on positon) and offer tons of optional overtime if you are willing to work a little extra.

Cons

A smaller regional lab with not much potential for promotion with average pay. Very small teams that are reliant on helping each other. So work can become very overwhelming in a short period of time if people are on leave. Very corporate system that doesn't work well in a lab setting that is still enforced by the company.
