      Good foot in door, not much else

      Pros

      Working for SGS gave me a good opportunity to get my foot in the door in the Health & Nutrition field. I had the opportunity to learn new techniques and work with experienced scientists. There are a few managers who want the business to grow and improve. Very diverse staff.

      Cons

      Deep culture issues. Company undervalues employees. High turnover rate. Little desire for improvement or growth as a whole, with the exception of a few great managers. No onboarding whatsoever.

      Pros

      The only pro is the clinic staff. My coworkers were the only thing that made it possible for me to stay as long as I did.

      Cons

      No lunch breaks, low pay compared to other CRO’s, long hours, no support from upper management, disrespectful panelists and PI’s, high turnover rate
