Pros

Friendly work culture. Very supportive and nice people in both the lab and in management.

Cons

Disorganized. There are site-wide and company-wide systems that work very inefficiently. The healthcare benefits are high-cost and high-deductible. The path for promotion/advancement is unclear.

Pros

The location is relatively close to downtown and Midtown Oklahoma City. The team is relatively tight-knit usually, and sometimes you get paid to drive to client locations to pick up samples.

Cons

The schedule is almost entirely up to the time of day clients send samples and how much they send. Most days, if you "opened" the lab at 7:30am and a client called for a sample pickup at 4:15pm, you would still be there to prep and enrich the samples and cleanup until close to 6 or 7pm. Planning for after-work activities is nearly impossible if you work in Prep. Employees only qualify for yearly raises if they have worked at least 12 months by December of the year evaluated. If you start on January 10th, 2020, you will be ineligible for a yearly raise until December 2021.
