      Pros

      If you are new to the field, you will learn enough to move to another company.

      Cons

      SGS just bought Accutest. Currently there are massive layoffs, and pay and hiring freezes. There are no resources, secret and unattainable goals, and random shifting priorities. It's simultaneously a race to the bottom while they throw things at a wall and see what sticks. There's pervasive fear, intimidation, and the worst top-down declarations instead of management.

      I learned good job skills that are unlikely to be automated or outsourced away, management is highly supportive and leaves you with the feeling they have your back.

      Cons

      Sometimes workload feels overwhelming and doesn't take into account human needs, such as using the restroom.
