      Pros

      Great, knowledgeable people. Mostly everyone at SLAC is relaxed and fully capable of teaching and mentoring due to the relaxed atmosphere that gives the impression that higher management trusts staff to do their job well and without constant supervision or nagging.

      Cons

      Noticed some work and budget politics that got in the way of productivity and deserved promotions but that could be said of any company.
