Pros

The overall stability of the job is appreciated, some people are nice. It's ok for short period of time but unless you are willing to sell your soul, it's hard to get ahead.

Cons

There are few opportunities to get a raise for doing a good job. They simply increase the salary based on their corporate rules and it's hard to get extra compensation for doing better than your peers. Your direct TL is basically powerless in front of higher ups so it does not matter what they think.
