Pros

Good location to work as a field engineer, because it is not too busy, so you have less stress at work and better work-life balance. Easy to travel around in Europe. Good to raise money if you get an EM or IM contract (Expat). The local laws limit your offshore time up to 28 days in a row. Very diverse, so you don't need to learn Danish if you don't want to,

Cons

As expat (international contract) you need to put yourself available for the company all the time, because the operations never stop. You don't have a fixed rotation, and you have only 30% of your days offshore as resting days. The city is extremely boring and the winter is very rough and depressive. Social life is poor. Your progress still depends a lot on what kind of manager you have.
