Pros

Good work -life balance Great bonus

Cons

Unfair pay that lends toward foreigners Very cliquish environment as nationalities group together for control No a very smart top management team. Most focus more of self-preservation Lots of "people" programs, but its still about the money at the end

Pros

Very few yet excellent professionals among your colleagues, also in the management level one or 2, maybe even 3 out of 10, who are managers with well deserved credibility. Most of the people are great people, with good intentions just very unconscious of their potential. Seems there is good vision of top level executives to keep the company running.

Cons

If you are surrounded by mediocre goals, then the distraction from being focused on the big picture deteriorates. and that is exactly what happens here. in times when it is not needed, it gets quite political in the management level, in times of what is called crisis fear is spread all over. Therefore if you challenge the status quo is pretty possible you get in the 'black list'. no fair treatment to all employees. Some centers have created a system quite reluctant to change, old senior and management level have ingrained in their cells that things should be the way are, because 'that is the way they are'. Superfluous environment: Very little analytical and common sense capability, poor vision of the future technologies. For instance there is talk of machine learning, AI yet poor understanding of the fundamentals and how Slb should lead on it. Sales and marketing efforts are more applauded than the creation of useful/robust products for the client. I perceived 'if you can sell glue to a horse, then you are more valuable to the company than somebody who tries to instill quality in the service. Lots of silly favoritism, even if you are mediocre and deserve more pushing for your own sake. If you have a daddy or mommy to take care for you, then you just be his/her blind follower. She, he and HR will cover your back. Dilbertesque type of structure, distracted on numbers, production volumes, and more profit. If you travel enough and visit enough different locations, it is more clear very little, superficial understanding for the values of growth, performance and quality in the service.

Pros

If the company was still MiSwaco it would be a great company still. I have no pros to state about the company at all.

Cons

You are not an employee, you are nothing but a GIN number. Your performance means nothing, I was literally removed from a rig I was requested on to be laid off after buying a 50K dollar vehicle so I wouldn't lose my car allowance which they took away 3 months after they made us buy new ones.
