Pros

12 hour shifts, always have relief afterward (meanwhile at some locations in the US people work up to 3 days a time!) Great work life balance (2-1, 4-2, or 6-3 depending on your country of residence)

Cons

Remote location, small town (~6000 people) Jobs are cheap, so comission is usually ~200 AUD per job, maybe ~500 if you do perforation (cased hole) or more with higher profile open hole jobs
