Pros
-Good for females , the company place them in relatively easier segments. They are quickly promoted into managerial positions .If you are female and you can stick around for the first couple of years, you will be rewarded . - top notch training and certification (good for oil industry ) - Clear structured training and expectations . - Good package but if you calculate $/hr it is a lemon!
Cons
- Poor work life balance if you work on the field. - Infrequent promotions and raises . - If you are FE, expect ~7 years to get out of field even longer if you are FS. - Loads of bureaucratic and managerial BS . - You are just GIN number and expendable whenever they lose a contract or oil goes down. - Stacked useless hierarchies . - Your experience depends a lot on your manage and usually they are full of BS .
