Pros
Very bright people to work with, and a great system of resources to use to help answer technical questions. Work is available globally, and no matter where you work, you'll have great team members who can support you. Very high standards of work, and a great place to learn. The company also will ensure that you have quality insurance, and health and safety really is a priority.
Cons
Work life balance definitely leans heavily towards work. Integration of a company into Schlumberger is difficult, but once people buy into the systems, things improve. Workload will be high, and there are very few jobs that are not stressful.
