Pros

Very competitive salary. If you love to learn and/or prove yourself, this is the perfect place. This is however, segment dependent. Very diverse group of employees Ability to work in different parts of the work

Cons

Sometimes,it's very difficult to maintain work/ life balance specially if your job is field-based. The stresses in the job are enormous. You will age too early. You’re not going to see your family often. You are most likely going to lose touch with most of your friends. Yes, you make a lot of money. But you are almost never in a position or location to spend it, which means the ‘release’ of seeing the fruit of your efforts blossom almost never happens. You are most likely going to be shunted off to a random location in the middle of nowhere
