Pros

Training: fixed step training for 3 yrs Exposure to latest and greatest technology Responsibility given early and what you do with it determines your progression Fast pase tests knowledge and responsibility (dont make a mistake) Vast array of career maps and options that reduce as you move higher

Cons

Easy and very possible to have lack of work/life balance for first 3 yrs. Can seem lost during first 2 yrs until you complete GFE (possible turning point in career) No structured/effective mentoring program Management can get caught up in red tape Career options/maps reduce as you move higher especially if you are technical Too much restructuring and confusing changes

Pros

Proactive people, great leadership opportunities, best in its field

Cons

Promotion slows down after hitting mid-management level, bias may rear up in certain regions with certain nationalities, in spite of the management's best efforts to keep it truly diverse and inclusive. Overall, great place to work.

Pros

hands on challanging job that requires hard work and dedication. you will get a lot of responsibility very quickly and it will be up to you to thrive in those conditions or fall out.

Cons

The job requires a non-traditional lifestyle. It is not monday through friday and there is not such thing as a 40 hr week. Average work weeks are 65-70 hrs but it does not seem like you are working that much if you really enjoy it.
