A Company that Truly Cares

Pros

The heads of the company are women who truly care about their employees and want to create a great work environment for us. They are always there for questions, support, and guidance. I have become close to various co-workers at SLEA who have become some of my best friends outside of work!

Cons

There are many different funding sources/placements, so initially it can be overwhelming learning the requirements for different placements. However, after the initial learning curve, it becomes very manageable. Also, make sure to reach out if you have any questions! You have to be proactive if you're having a difficult time.

Great medical and long term benefits. Higher pay rates than other larger companies.

Cons

Hours aren’t secure as clients can cancel anytime. There is a last minute cancellation that covers 1 hr of your session but there is no same day cancellation pay.

Pros

SO MANY different opportunities whether you want to work in an office setting, school setting or online. I had been with the company for a few years before my family had to move to a different state, but thanks to the teletherapy option at the company, I was able to continue working with SLEA from a different state. Other Pros: Flexible work schedule. Great benefits. Wonderful management. True family environment.

Cons

It's a very large company so if you don't make the effort to get to know people or participate in the many events the company offers, you may feel disconnected.
