Even though the company is getting bigger, they have managed to keep the family feeling. They truly care about their employees and show it through great benefits, rewarding hard work, promoting from within and expressing their appreciation. We love seeing executives from corporate visiting our sites and it further proves their care and concern for all employees regardless of their work location throughout the US.

Cons

It would be great to have more social events in the DC area so we can meet and network with other SMS employees.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review for SMS. I'm sorry to hear you are no longer with us! I agree we hire some amazing employees and our teams around the US have great coworkers and managers! We ensure our pay is competitive in our various regions around the country, however as with any federal contractor, we do have a few contracts with lower rates that we must contend with. In many cases, we try to start our junior staff in our lower rates and promote from within or transfer them to another contract to ensure they feel valued. I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to work through your reasons for departing. Regardless, we hope you entertain opportunities with SMS should one interest you in the future.
