Pros

Let's face it, in the end, it is all about People, and SSAB has the best people on the planet. The work is challenging, there are interesting problems to solve and a strong team in place.

Cons

We are doing more with less these days. A pandemic has really made everyone an expert juggler to get more done in less time.

Pros

SSAB never lays off direct workers. They invest in equipment and updates that will keep them competitive moving into the future. Being a mini-mill gives them the diversity to remain flexible and adapt to the ever changing economy.

Cons

The required overtime can become burdensome at times. I enjoy the work though.
