Pros

Working with children in a school setting

Cons

Low pay, low hours, no benefits, short notice for subbing, favoritism, and making programs available to communities that don't need them i.e. westwood, west Hollywood. You have a lot of responsibilities for low pay with little to no chance for advancement. You will be a part time employee, and they might have you drive quite a bit to different sites.

Pros

Supportive department, friendly coworkers, decent wages

Cons

Difficult to manage kids most of the time, not a lot of initial training, a lot of driving, not a lot of hours (maximum of 15 hours per week for after school program)
