Pros

Amazing place to start out as a new therapist. STARS is extremely supportive of their therapists. They will help you get any materials you might need and have generous CEU and technology stipends. The pay is also extremely competitive for a school placement. They will also have your back if you find a placement is not a good fit and will work with you to find a setting that works for you. I can't recommend them enough!

Cons

The nature of contract companies means that you might not be able to stay at the same school or district each year. That means you might move around more than if you were employed by the district. It also means you may have less career advancement opportunities, such as becoming a therapy lead or taking on additional responsibilities within the district. As long as you're looking for a straightforward therapy job, this should be fine.
