-Focuses on empowering each employee to help you succeed within institution. If you find the job your in currently isn't a good fit for you there are opportunities to do on the job training in another area that you're interested in. -401K matching is best in the area -Busy but not overwhelming -Still growing as a company despite being around for 80+ years. Everyone has a voice with a good idea.

Thank you for your review! A few programs STCU offers to encourage employees to pursue their career interests and learn more about other departments or areas of the credit union are job shadows and developmental assignments. These are excellent opportunities to help an employee determine if a particular department or role aligns with where they want to take their career.

Great Place to work!! Culture is a great fit for anyone looking for an employer that will invest in personal development. Work life balance is a real thing, not just advertised Benefits are great!!

Salary is a bit below market average Can be a bit slow to make strategic decisions

Great benefits, friendly staff, amazing sense of culture, generous bi yearly bonus, food vendor on-site, transparent staff and management, room to grow over time

Cons

Some questionable decisions by upper management, some managers play favorites, some frustrating cross-department drama, branch-by-branch differentiation is a very large issue

Each year, STCU gets bigger and bigger so we can understand how branches and departments may need to operate differently. However, the end goal is to provide consistent, superior service to our members and team members. The financial services industry changes quickly and we know that sometimes, if we don’t respond quickly, we could be left behind. It is important to share thoughts and concerns about changes with your manager. We want to make sure changes are beneficial for everyone and you may have an idea or hesitation that hasn’t been addressed yet. We really want to hear from you!
