Pros

Awesome HR. Allow to work from home. Leadership is all over personal and technical issues.

Cons

Can't really find any. Only match %50 of 6 % of base pay.

Pros

A typical Gov contract company that was once privately owned. I was an employee then when it was privately owned, but it's gone down hill from there. Middle management has been let go, quit, or whatever... but it's fairly unstable when it comes to middle management. I'm paid well and so I'm not complaining. Pays for certification/continued education, training, matching 401K, flex spending plan.

Cons

STG is small. If you lose your job, you will need to find your own and hopefully there is something that will fit you. If not, then you can pretty much be unemployed. Unlike bigger companies, they can place you in different place to keep talent. At one time STG had a bunch of overseas contracts, and now they have none. They need to look at getting more overseas contracts and start winning more contracts in general. Health, Vision, Dental is about industry standards as far as cost with United Health - it could be better and cheaper.
