Pros

Decent work life balance. Some upper management appreciates you and will tell you. I did feel very valued but I definitely worked hard for it (more than others). Amazing training program. Amazing coaches. I highly recommend that new employees work in the store and shadow more. I feel like that truly helped me succeed. Most of the managers were AMAZING and I was fortunate to work with some of them.

Cons

Please stop promoting people who are use to commission sales and being in a cut throat sales world. There are some Gems from Jennifer's but there are a lot of people who worked at the old company that should not work at saatva especially in management. If the culture is team oriented as you claim then have the employees act like it. I met a few very rude and aggressive people and it shocked me because even the VPs and the directors aren't like that, so why are older CSRs acting like that? There are some inappropriate people too, the world is changing and some of those employees need to think about what they say before they speak. Saatva does care about employees sales performance which is fine but let's not act like you dont, in training they act like it isn't a huge deal but it is. They do not allow for switching shifts and I never seen that in retail before. Allow adults to switch shifts with adults and have employees sign agreements to switch if the parties agree, it should be allowed. I understand abuse of it but from time to time it should be allowed. They should be giving handouts of sick paid time law per new jersey law..they should also be giving access to employment law posters to new york employees.
