Pros

Friendly atmosphere. Managers don't pressurize employees unnecessarily; they respect your work-life balance. Good salary. It's not all about pleasing the customers. Employees matter. Good time off and work from home policies.

Cons

Heavy bureaucracy - difficult to get what you need. Blanket policies from senior executives stymie and frustrate you. Very slow pace of product development - it can take years to perform a single product enhancement. Little or no innovation, in spite of explicitly stated company vision and values.

Being in a niche area, there are always new business needs and Sabre is in the forefront of the industry. The work culture is very flexible and there are lots of travel opportunities if you are in the right team.

Cons

Not the best higher level management. Can be static if the team has an established product.
