Pros

Every great orator first listened to a speech, world renowned painters were at one point the apprentice, the most decorated ship captain a first mate and so on and so forth. In order to truly be successful we need to surround ourselves with greatness. Welcome to Edge! Edge is a breeding ground for greatness. If you are looking for a company that is expanding on a large scale but still cares about each individual, then look no more. With a company motto to "Lift and Bless" the people that we come in contact with each day, it is clear that people are at the heart of what we do. Some see a service performed, we see a person served. This applies to the customer as well as the employee. The founders of Edge are consumed with growing a company that grows leaders. Nearly every leadership position within the company is manned by a person who started in door to door sales and grew into that role. So if growth potential is appealing to you, then go ahead and check that box. Since I started working here, Edge has noticed talents in me that I didn't know I had. They have stretched and supported me as I have grown into different roles and acquired new positions and it didn't take years before it happened. If you want to maximize your potential as a person and a professional, I promise you can do it here.

Cons

I know this is a stretch... - You'll earn every dollar you make so be willing to work hard...then again who wants a free handout? - Sometimes, due to the teamwork atmosphere, you may be asked to take on a task outside or your job description. Which can be difficult if you have limited understanding in that area and you are accustom to monotony. Or it can be a blast switching it up and learning new things.

Pros

From the top down, these people care. They are very upfront with you and tell you from the very beginning what to expect and what should be expected from you. They don't try to sugar coat anything. They work hard and expect you to work hard. After my second summer selling (which Edge pays you the most) I decided to pursue a different avenue not in sales. They sat me down to figure out if they could help me reach my personal career goals. They then created a position for me that they didn't even have in the company just to give me experience in what I wanted to do. That is just the beginning. They care and their culture is unparalleled. I've been with them ever since.

Cons

If you want to be apart of the crazy expansion that is going to take place in the company within the next few years you sometimes are going to have to do things you don't fully enjoy. Just like any job. If you don't like to work hard then that can be a con.

Pros

If you want to follow their heartless plan you can sell a decent amount

Cons

Management is full of crap. They tell you that they have a special deal for you and that they want you to move up in the company... then you find out they have told that to everyone and everyone else has a special deal too. They will say whatever it takes to get you out with them and then they'll leave you for dead once they've used you.
