low pay family owned so all their 20 year old children get the manager jobs and don't know anything no raise boss always yells at you too many responsibilities freezing in office no raise no raise no respect super expensive benefits, no one can afford them, useless dirty old carpeting that smells, and this is a company that is known for rugs, really???? CHEAPPPPP

Pros

They have a roof. The tea is free(no coffee though). No one is really working, so you could say its 'relaxing'.

Cons

If you aren't involved in Sales, there's little place for you to go. Little to no oversight of daily tasks, lax physical safety in the office. Projects and responsibilities change at the whim of whoever is yelling loudest today. It's a family company; if you aren't a part of the family, there's absolutely no chance of becoming a manager.

Safavieh is family business, hence family like atmosphere employer.

Cons

If you like your employer to yell at you like he is your brother or act in such familiar way with back and forth yelling, then you'll like this place. I was terminated on the spot without warning because I could not work on my day off; they also withheld a whole month of wages. Everybody points to other people and nobody wants to deal with it. There is no human resources and there is no justice for the employee, all there is is intimidation and fear base "top down" company.
