Pros

some teams are doing things right; the one I landed on was not

Cons

-lower pay for role (120k for Senior) -disconnected management (more concerned with putting people in seats than building teams) -high turnover (team lead, senior systems analyst, and experienced software engineer all quit in my first 6 months) -was not involved in hiring of any replacement team members -bonus doesnt pay out until q2 of following year

Pros

Safelite is technology forward and stay apprised of the latest tools and systems. This means employees have the opportunity to learn new tools and implement enhancements.

Cons

Some of the standard procedures don’t make sense for all of the tools in use. Sometimes there is a square peg - round hole scenario when trying to get approvals to deploy new features.
