Pros

There were a select few people at my Safeway I enjoyed working with.

Cons

Inflexible with scheduling even though they claim they are flexible in their promotional ads. Management was very poor at this specific Safeway and sometimes showed me disrespect.

Flexible schedule, co-workers can be good (like any job)

Cons

It's retail, open 365 days a year so be ready to not see your family on Thanksgiving or Christmas

Great coworkers Not hard work Ability to schedule time off

Cons

Management will cut hours if minimum wage is raised Seniority is based on hire date rather than experience Management doesn't fire employees that do not work Makes underage employees clean up needles/sharps Most narcissistic customers I've ever met
