Great coworkers! Flexible scheduling That's about it really.

Cons

District managers uncaring/unprofessional No one is able to figure out what's going on since the Albertson's merger. The company has started implementing policies and processes that were a part of Albertsons and do NOT work with a larger company. How can one store be completely out of bottled water but another store within the district have too much overstock? All employee services have been outsourced to other companies who will be the first to admit they do not have the ability to help. No room for growth within the company

Meet some great people. receive a paycheck every week.

Cons

Went into management to manage, mentor and coach people; to oversee operations & promote growth. I havent had the opportunity to do any of that because i am used just the same as a uniom clerk, checking & stocking but with longer hours & salary paid. Essentially, im used for free labor. Management treats employees like dogs, never hear a thank you or shown appreciation for hard work. Long hours, no work life balance what so ever. Basically no one cares about anyone but themselves. Thats the corporate world for ya- just cant keep it real.

I hoped to move up in the company put in the years worked hard was treated well and respected by upper management Then the merge happened. I've been treated like nothing and no one. They only care about surveys.
