Pros

Union is helpful to an extent. I’ve made some really great friendships while working here.

Cons

The expectations are too high given our workload and the amount of help we have. I’m paid minimum wage, and they act like I should put this job above my health and my life and my relationships and education. I’m effectively an assistant manager, and have been for over a year. When I mentioned this during a conversation for a raise, I was brushed off and told to stop being so bad at my job and he *might* think about asking his boss. The managers don’t care about their employees wellbeing or health. They only care about numbers. It doesn’t matter if the numbers are bad for the right reasons, for example, if I had to make a decision based on what would be better for my department as a whole rather than getting 90%+ in proper production; all they care about is the number itself when it’s actually meaningless. Furthermore, I was hired as part time but have been working full time for most of my time here. I’m still in the system as part time, so I don’t get any benefits.

Pros

• Schedule changes every week so you have some flexibility • That’s about it

Cons

• Understaffed • Management is completely disconnected • Overworked • Overstressed • Constantly asked to stay after shift was supposed to end • You will get no help if you’re behind • Always behind because they refuse to hire more people • You will take the fall if you get to far behind even if you ask for help multiple times and keep management up to date on your situation during your shift
