Pleasant coworkers.

Pros

Pleasant staff with flexible shifts.

Cons

Ever changing work schedule if you are on call. Often have to work until closing (12:15 am) and then 2 days later be scheduled to open (6:45 am). Can easily wind up exhausted for very low pay.

Good and bad

Pros

Once you get in, very good pay, benefits, depending on which department you're in you can usually be out of there by six or seven.

Cons

Very little in the way of training, no real chance to move up in the ladder without going into management. Company's always cutting hours down, and trying to cap hours to save money while leaving cashiers/on-floor staff stretched thin. Politics/high school-esque drama rampant. Very picky on dress code (no facial piercings, 'unnatural hair colors', visible tattoos, though this does vary from store to store, depending on how lenient the manager is)

Pros

Amazing people, great company, friendly customers and reasonable pay Cross-training available in different departments = more shifts

Cons

Big gap between management and staff so it's hard to voice concerns Scheduling is based on seniority, slow start if you're a new hire
