Pros

There are a lot of opportunities for process improvements. In addition, the employees are nice - confused and in a daze but albeit nice.

Cons

Terrible leadership with old ways of thinking and not qualified to lead. Leaders do not care about their employees at all and not willing to change their mentality whatsoever. No work life balance and they like it that way! Leaders always gossiping about everyone and everything. Very unprofessional. It was like being in high school all over again!

Pros

Good benefits, strong union, nearly impossible to get fired

Cons

Your superiors will do anything to make some extra coin, including stalling your promotion for MONTHS at a time while you are filling the role of the promotion, taking money from your department bonus to buy new things for the store, making you do extra work outside of your job description so they don't have to use as many man hours, stealing hours from your department and using them elsewhere. No sick leave, if you get sick you don't get paid, which means that everyone still comes to work when they are sick and tries to hide it, thusly getting EVERYONE ELSE sick including customers.

Pros

Good people trying to generally do the right thing for our customers and fellow employees. My experiences with my fellow employees were all good and everyone seemed to work together for the greater good most of the time.

Cons

Many in top management only cares about the bottom line and don't seem to remember that the stores are where the company profits are made and that they must keep customers happy to keep the company going. Quite a few don't have any experiences working in the stores and my feelings is that they should get in front of their retail customers often.
