      Pros

      Friendly, clean, safe, and generally an ok place for a person to get introduced to the workforce at a younger age

      Cons

      At every second that management can they force there brainwashed customer service down your throat. Just awkward as can be.

      Pros

      If you don't have an education grocery used to be a great job. If you want to work 60 hours a week you can become a manager.

      Cons

      Union dues w/o real protection. No real retirement. Working nights, weekends & holidays. If you're going to work grocery I would go to- Costco, Trader Joe's, Sprouts . They have a reputation for treating their employees right.

      Pros

      Safeway will work with your schedule if you are going to school or need time off for something. Most of the other employees are very nice and friendly and can easily make friends.

      Cons

      Management. Depending on the store your manager can be great or can be a total nightmare. Lack of training for new employees Lack of screening of new employees
